Honda Element Camper Build

My buddy Luke Webster is a commercial adventure photographer and just bought this sweet Honda Element. He spends a lot of time on the road and wanted to turn this into a comfortable rig for camping and working in. We started with the massive 48" deep drawer. Everything was built around this platform. There were quite a few organic curves to contend with inside the Element making it difficult to anticipate all the possible interference points. After a couple tries we ended up with a great pull out drawer.

The kitchen countertop that sits in between the two doors splits into two pieces that are held together by an H channel of aluminum. These are stored underneath the bed next to the deep drawer.
